Von Der Decken's Hornbill

Tockus deckeni

Size: Up to 42 cms long
Habitat: Savannah

The Von der Decken's Hornbill is similar to the Red-billed Hornbill. It has the distinctive long, curved bill, but the male has a red bill with a pale tip and the female has a black bill.

The underparts are white and the tail black, but it differs from the red-billed by the wings which are completely black rather than speckled.
