Woolly-necked Stork

Ciconia episcopus

Size: Up to 85 cms high
Habitat: Near water in areas with trees
Feeding: Frogs, reptiles and insects

The Woolly-necked Stork, also called the White-necked Stork, is a large wading bird.

It has dark brown/black plummage with a white neck and black head. The eyes are red.

The sexes are similar.
