Superb Starling

Lamprotornis superbus

Size: Up to 19 cms long
Habitat: Open scrub and woodland
Feeding: Insects and berries

The Superb Starling is a colourful ground feeding bird which is common in East Africa.

It has a black head, glossy blue/green upper parts, orange/red belly with a white stripe across the chest and white under the tail.
