The Ostrich is the world's largest bird. It is flightless but its the world's fastest running bird.
These birds are the Masai Ostrich which differ slightly in colour from the Somali Ostrich.
The male (top photo) has black plummage with some white feather in the wings and tail. It has a long bare neck and legs which are red.
The female (lower photo) is duller with brown/grey plummage
The first photos was taken in the Masai Mara, Kenya and the second in the Ngorongora Crater, Tanzania.
