Kori Bustard

Ardeotis kori

Size: 76 - 100 cms
Habitat: Grassland, dry bush, semi-desert
Feeding: Insects, rodents, reptiles and seeds

The Kori Bustard is the biggest of the Bustards and has a much thicker neck than the Black-bellied Bustard.

It has a dark crest on its head. The neck is grey, the back is brown and the belly is white.

The female is much smaller than the male but has similar colouring.
