Great White Egret

Ardea alba

Size: Up to 100 cm tall
Habitat: Wetlands
Feeding: Fish and amphibians

The Great White Egret, also called the Great White Heron, is a large wading bird. Its plummage is all white and it has black legs and a yellow beak. It also has a black line under its eye.

The sexes are the same.
