Crested Francolin

Francolinus Crested

Size: 33 cms
Habitat: Woodland and bush
Feeding: Insects, leaves, berries, seeds

The Crested Francolin is larger than the Coqui Francolin but is easy to distinguish with a dark cap and white eye-stripe.

It has yellow/beige underparts and brown speckled neck and wings. The legs are red.
