Striped Hawkmoth

Hyles livornica

Feeding: Plants

Hawkmoths are easy to recognise by their shape and have a large wingspan. The Striped Hawkmoth is brown with white stripes. The hind wings, which are not seen in this photo, are pink. The antenna are dark brown with white tips.

This photo was taken on the island of Boa Vista, Cape Verde.
