Lions are social animals with sometimes large numbers of them living in a pride.
They usually hunt at night or at dawn or dusk.
The first photo was taken in the Serengeti, Tanzania and the others in the Masai Mara, Kenya. The last photo shows a youngster in a pride of about 22 lions.
