Grant's Gazelle

Nanger granti

Size: Up to 90cm high
Habitat: Savannah and grassland
Feeding: Grass and foliage

The Grant's Gazelle is a small gazelle similar to the Thomson's Gazelle. It has a brown coat with with white underparts but unlike the Tommie, does not have a black stripe on its side. Another distinction is the white of the rump extends above its tail.

Both sexes have horns but those of the male are much larger.

It has a lifespan of  about 10 - 12 years.
